ASSET MANAGEMENT COUNCIL WELCOMES DECISION BY COMPETITION TRIBUNAL

The Asset Management Council has welcomed the recent decision by the Australian Competition Tribunal to set aside the determination of the Australian Energy Regulator, in terms of its approach to reasonable operating expenses.

Asset Management Council on the Move

The Asset Management Council has moved its offices from Hawthorn to Oakleigh.  You will now find us located in the vibrant south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne at 33A Chester Street, Oakleigh Victoria 3166.
Our mailing address is now PO Box 2004, Oakleigh Vic 3166 and our phone number remains unchanged.

Moving On

We have been privileged here at the AMCouncil National Office to have worked with both Maxwell Junge and Juliette Bond over the last six months. Both were employed for six months whilst on working holidays in Australia to assist in communications and event management and their time with Asset Management Council concluded during August 2015.

Burlington Streamlines Asset Management with One System

In 2012, the City of Burlington (COB) in southwestern Ontario began using the RivaDS solution to manage the complex lifecycles of its largest asset class, roadways, comprising about 80% of their inventory replacement value. Working with the City, Riva Modeling created the central asset inventory by integrating to all source systems and spreadsheets. The project included integration to Esri GIS, Road Matrix (Pavement Management), Avantis (CMMS) and SAP Asset Accounting (ERP system). Riva Modeling was recently an exhibitor at the Asset Management Council's AMPEAK Conference. Below is a case study highlighting the full scope of the project.
