  • Announcing the 2021 Brisbane Chapter Committee

    Thank you to all who nominated to join the AMCouncil Brisbane Chapter Committee. All nominations were accepted at last night's Annual General Meeting and the re-election of Ella Hingston as Chapter Secretary was confirmed. Keith Paintin (Chapter Chair) and Peter Pennell (Vice-Chair) who were re-elected last year in 2020 for a 2-year term remain in position.

    The Brisbane Chapter Committee for 2021 is as follows:

  • Announcing the 2021 New Zealand Chapter Committee

    The New Zealand Chapter AGM was held on the 18th March and a full strength committee elected including new committee member, Wayne Hatcher.

    We are happy to announce the 2021 AMCouncil New Zealand committee line up is:

  • Announcing the 2021 Perth Chapter Committee

    The Perth Chapter AGM was held on the 17th March and a full strength committee elected including six new committee members: Mark Bourhill, Neen Barry, Robert Musca, Robert Pradera, Adam Rotapel and Garth Walter.

    We are happy to announce the 2021 AMCouncil Perth committee line up is:

  • Announcing the 2022 Adelaide Chapter Committee

    Following election for the positions of all Adelaide Chapter positions at yesterday's AGM, the Chapter is delighted to confirm that:

    • Michael Nicholas has been re-elected as the Adelaide Chapter Chair;
    • Jack Nelson has been elected as the Adelaide Chapter Secretary

    We would like to thank Andrew Wilson for their time and effort in the secretary position over the past term, and are delighted they are staying on in the committee as a general member. 

    The above join re-elected committee members Shane Bissmire, Mae-Ryn Chong, and Bill Filmer.

  • Announcing the 2022 Brisbane Chapter Committee

    Following voting for the positions of all Brisbane Chapter positions, the Brisbane Chapter is delighted to confirm that:

    • Sparshy Rablin has been elected as Brisbane Chapter Chair; and
    • Stephen Walker has been elected as Brisbane Chapter Vice Chair

    The Asset Management Council would like to extend its sincere thanks to Keith Paintin and Peter Pennell, outgoing Brisbane Chapter Chair and Vice-Chair respectively, for all their time and effort over the last two years. We are delighted that both Keith and Peter will stay on in the Committee as general members. 

  • Announcing the 2022 Melbourne Chapter Committee

    Following election for the positions of all Melbourne Chapter positions, the Chapter is delighted to confirm that:

    • Andrew Sarah has been re-elected as the Melbourne Chapter Chair;
    • Nicole Opie and Dianne Scheepers have been co-elected as joint Melbourne Chapter Vice Chairs
    • Sharon Michael has been elected as the Melbourne Chapter Secretary
  • Announcing the 2022 Perth Chapter Committee

    The Asset Management Council WA Chapter AGM was held on the 17 March and a full strength committee elected.

    We are happy to announce the 2022 AMCouncil Perth Chapter committee line up is:

      The Sydney Chapter of the Asset Management Council held it's online AGM yesterday evening. We are delighted to announce the following new additions to the Chapter Committee for 2022/23. Welcome:

      • Brisbane hosts the Maintenance & Reliability SIG

        Brisbane 21 Mar 19 2The Brisbane Chapter held a Technical session on the 21st March in conjunction with the Maintenance and Reliability Special interest Group. There were over 60 attendees present to listen to Mr Ian Sedgwick and Mr Ricardo Santos speaking about Dynamic lifecycle costing and Risk Based Inspection regimes respectively. This was followed by a Q and A Panel session which included the speakers and AMC board member, Dr Monique Beedles.

      • Invitation to Vote - 2022 Board Elections

        In accordance with the Constitution of the Asset Management Council nominations were called for the position of Director on the AMCouncil Board of Directors.

        An extensive search was undertaken to attract suitable candidates from all geographical locations across our membership base and externally advertising the position through AICD.  

        Three candidates have successfully nominated for one position of Director which becomes vacant at the 2022 AGM. Voting is now open and closes at 5pm AEDT on Friday 1st April 2022. 

      • New Board member elected at AM Council AGM

        At the AMPEAK conference on Monday the AM Council held its annual AGM. At the meeting a new Board member was elected.

        There were four applications for one place on the Board and after voting, Wendy McPate was elected. Wendy is the engineering manager, asset management, in the power generation business unit for Origin Energy. More information about Wendy is below.

        In addition to congratulating Wendy, the AM Council would like to thank outgoing Board member Dr Monique Beedles for her work and commitment to the role.

      • New Board member elected at AM Council AGM

        At the AMPEAK 2022 conference early April, the Asset Management Council held its annual AGM. At the meeting a new Board member was elected. There were three applications for one place on the Board and after voting, Nicola Daaboul was elected. 

        In addition to congratulating Nicola, the AM Council would like to thank outgoing Board member Glenn Ingram for his work and commitment to the AMCouncil board over the last 10 years.
