Thank you to David Scott from Wave Digital, who took the time to tell us all about their project, developing a system integration and data visualisation framework for South East Water, and to Tim Purves from Icon Water who talked us through the development of a Program of Work Balance Model.

Digby has extensive experience in leading organisations and projects from climate risk through to climate leadership using sustainability strategy and design. An engaging and motivational presenter and facilitator, Digby took the audience through the climate risk-to-reward spectrum in a webinar last night, exploring how an asset might respond to climate risk in achievable and profitable ways that can contribute to the owner’s brand strength.

    The AMCouncil Darwin Chapter extends its invite to members and non-members for attendance to the inaugural event with keynote speech by Dave Daines the current Chairman of the AM Council (online). The Keynote will focus on the vision of the AMCouncil within Australia over the next few years, and a short presentation into the introduction of how AM can provide value to the region.

  • Gippsland Workshops Asset Management

    Welcome address by Dr. Gopi ChattopadhyayAn Asset Management Workshop in Gippsland was organised by the School of Science, Engineering and Information Technology’s Resources Engineering and Technology Group and supported by the Gippsland Chapter of the Asset Management Council and Engineering Network of local Engineers Australia Group on Thursday 28 June from 10.00am to 5pm.

    This workshop was another of its revered Corporate Education Workshop and Seminars attended by more than 35 delegates from industry, professional bodies and FedUni and feedback received from delegates was outstanding. This was the fifth event held in the past 3 years, which has seen close to 250 delegates attend Gippsland events.

  • Helping industry in Gippsland boost their business

    An AMCouncil supported seminar at Federation University Australia’s Gippsland campus was recently held to bring together representatives from local industries to learn new ways to strengthen their business. The Asset Management Workshop hosted by the School of Science, Engineering and Information Technology on 28th November 2019 was a houseful event with more than forty delegates in person and online. The event focused on helping businesses to reduce the cost of operational maintenance, reduce the risk of failures and further enhance the performance of assets.
