About the Virtual Strategic Asset Management in Defence Forum 2020

The only event for Australia’s defence forces dedicated to the successfully industrywide collaboration and implementation of asset management as a business function.

Attend to:

  • See how the evolving culture of asset management is changing the Defence sector
  • Streamline your sustainment programme and ensure asset readiness
  • Hear how data is improving asset performance and understanding
  • Understand the path to ISO55000 recognition in Defence

Asset management within the Defence sector is coming to a key point, where all major forces have recognised the need and value of its effective implementation, but a coordinated unilateral is still something to be delivered. Within the silos of each military force, there are still common issues that need to be addressed and are being tackled such as; defining the complexities and value of asset management specific to the defence sector, managing culture change and adopting the language of asset management, improving data governance, optimising decision making on asset health & performance, and addressing the need to further collaborate with the supply chain.

With these key points in mind, the Virtual Strategic Asset Management for Defence Forum in partnership with our Defence SIG is here to help highlight these issues shared across the sector and create an open forum of sharing and collaboration for the successful implementation of asset management across the sector.
