DESCRIPTION:Sydney Water has installed sensors on wastewater gravity pipes across its wastewater network allowing potential blockages to be identified and cleaned before an overflow occurs.  This program has reportedly saved approx $400k per month in avoidance costs.   Christoph Prackwieser\, Iot Manger at Sydney Water will present at our lunch time webinar providing an insight into how the adopted sensor technology can assist an organisation in obtaining real time performance information about its assets and introduce the concepts of predictive maintenance. \n  \nClick here to register\n  \nAbout the speaker:  \nChristoph Prackwieser\, IoT Manager\, Sydney Water. \nBefore moving to Australia\, Chris was the Principal Consultant for an esteemed international software and consultancy company. Having joined Sydney Water in 2013\, he has managed the delivery of several high-profile business improvement projects\, implemented a 5-year planning process for treatment assets and led the process design for the Customer Hub implementation.  Since then\, Chris managed Sydney Water’s Internet of Things initiative\, at first as a project manager and now more strategically as the IoT Manager.
