SUMMARY:Melbourne - Building Resilient Cities: Navigating Climate Challenges and Embracing Servitisation for Sustainability
DESCRIPTION:Discover how resilient assets are crucial in combating climate change’s impact on urban infrastructure\, covering water adaptation\, heat management\, circularity\, and carbon reduction. As climate change effects intensify\, our infrastructure must withstand extreme weather events\, ensuring community safety during floods\, temperature extremes\, and wildfires. Learn how proactive measures can preserve asset value\, enhance well-being\, reduce carbon emissions\, and accelerate the path to Net Zero. Explore the servitisation trend reshaping organisational operations\, focusing on effective Asset Management programmes\, performance-based maintenance/contracts\, and innovative renewal strategies. This shift responds to evolving customer expectations\, offering continuous personalised engagements and driving sustainability through outcome-based\, bundled\, and “as-a-service” models. Dive into the role of IoT\, AI\, ML\, and 5G in accelerating this transformation. \nClick here to register\nFinger food provided. \nAbout the speaker:\nPeter Dourlein\, a seasoned Service Director and Asset Management consultant\, has had a comprehensive background in all facets of Asset Management.
