DESCRIPTION:Please join us to hear from Infrastructure SA’s Chief Executive Director Jeremy Conway\, and Director Assurance Graeme Brown\, who will share insights on the 20-year South Australian Infrastructure Strategy. \nClick here to register\n\n\nAbout the Speakers:\nJeremy Conway\, Chief Executive Director\, Infrastructure SA\nAs Chief Executive of Infrastructure SA\, Jeremy has led development of the State’s 20-year infrastructure strategy and is responsible for providing independent advice to the South Australian Government on infrastructure projects and prioritisation. His team has a strong focus on evidence-based decision-making and seeks to improve the maturity of infrastructure planning and investment across government. Infrastructure SA also aims to identify projects that deliver benefits for all South Australians by adopting a state-wide cross-sectoral lens. This is aided by Jeremy’s deep experience in both the public and private sectors. He has held senior roles at the Department of Planning\, Transport and Infrastructure and Department for the Premier and Cabinet; meanwhile his vast commercial and business experience comes from having worked in property development at Places Victoria for three years and in private equity CVC Capital Partners in London for nine years. \nGraeme Brown\, Director Assurance\, Infrastructure SA\nGraeme Brown is an experienced government infrastructure\, asset management and capital program executive who has worked across all tiers of government and asset sectors. Departmental experience includes Defence\, Health\, Police\, Treasury and Finance\, and Infrastructure and Transport. Qualifications include Bachelor of Architectural Studies\, Bachelor of Architecture\, Advanced Diploma in Administration. Graeme is an Accredited Professional Planning Level 2.

SUMMARY:Webinar - A technical overview on AUKUS from an Asset management perspective
DESCRIPTION:The SSN-AUKUS is a planned class of nuclear-powered fleet submarine intended to enter service with the United Kingdom’s Royal Navy in the late 2030s and Royal Australian Navy in the 2040s. The class will replace the UK’s Astute class and Australia’s Collins class submarines. \nThis presentation will provide a technical overview on AUKUS and nuclear-powered submarines from an Asset management perspective on one of the world’s most complex asset. \n  \nClick here to register\n  \nAbout the speaker:  \nChris Saint\, Domain Engineering Manager (Submarines and Nuclear)\, Babcock Australasia \nChris Saint is Babcock Australasia’s Domain Engineering Manager for submarines and nuclear. He is tasked with capability management and development in preparation for AUKUS\, in particular planning ahead of the nation’s new nuclear-powered submarines. Over the past 10 years\, Chris has held several positions at Babcock\, including the Naval Nuclear Head of Engineering Capability and Technical Services Alliance in Devonport\, UK. He has also worked as a Safety Case Engineer and Naval Base Project Engineer. Chris began his career in the Royal Navy\, where he worked in various engineering roles. Chris holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Manufacturing) from the University of Portsmouth. \n
