DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Brisbane Chapter’s next event of the year; which will explore the applications of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs) for condition assessment. It will look at the current status and market background of asset management\, focusing on the global drive for asset owners to predict and prolong active asset life while de-risking their assets\, and despite ever increasing pressures to increase capacity and performance. \nWe will also address the pain points faced by today’s asset owners regarding digital condition assessments and explore various systems available\, such as UAV collection only\, manual recognition and defect quantification\, UAV collection and AI recognition of defects\, and AI-induced UAV collection to address these concerns.
