This presentation from Rebecca De Cicco FCIOB\, Director of Built Digital SA\, and Founder & Global Chair of Women in BIM examines how an intelligent asset owner can set a digital and information strategy early\, align requirements with ISO 19650\, and translate them into procurement and contracts so appointed parties clearly understand their obligations. It explores how compliance can be monitored throughout design and delivery using information requirements\, responsibility matrices\, common data environments\, assurance gates and measurable acceptance criteria. Finally\, it considers the operational capability required to keep asset information current after handover – including governance\, competent people\, defined update processes and connected digital systems.
