DESCRIPTION:In the second session of our four-part Statutory Compliance Series\, this Aeration Technology webinar provides an overview of the compliance journey undertaken by Water Corporation WA to understand compliance requirements for water and wastewater treatment aeration assets and processes. \nThe session will cover risk framework development\, risk understanding\, mitigation development\, and management of aeration technologies within water and wastewater treatment processes. \nIt will explain the steps we took to: \n\nUnderstand which legislation applies to our assets and processes\,\nDevelop an internal framework to provide structure and clear direction for the journey\,\nIdentify the risks\, develop a risk assessment process\, and assess those risks\,\nDevelop risk control strategies and align them with the framework\,\nIdentify gaps and collaborate with research partners to address these gaps and improve understanding in both water and wastewater environments\,\nUndertake an independent review of our journey\, including our frameworks\, outputs\, and processes\, with input from respected industry experts\,\nShowcase what can happen when controls are not in place or not followed.\n\nThis approach gives Water Corporation greater confidence that we are building the correct level of understanding and developing a structured approach to effectively manage our assets and processes\, despite the current lack of specific national or local compliance management guidance. \n  \nClick here to register\n  \nAbout the speaker:  \nIan Bradley\, Lead Reliability Engineering – Maintenance & Reliability Business Unit\, Water Corporation\n \nIan is Lead – Reliability Engineering for the Water Corporation of Western Australia. He has been at the Water Corporation WA for over 14 years concentrating in the reliability engineering and management.
