SUMMARY:Melbourne - Navigating Financial Constraints: The Evolution of AMAF in the Victorian Government
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an insightful session with guest speaker Nicholas Phillips\, as we explore the evolving landscape of the Asset Management Accountability Framework (AMAF) within the Victorian Government. Nearly a decade since its inception\, AMAF remains a key policy guiding asset management practices across government agencies. However\, in the face of tight financial constraints\, agencies are being forced to rethink their approach – balancing compliance\, service outcomes\, and operational efficiency with reduced funding. \n\n\nThis session will delve into how government agencies are adapting to funding challenges while maintaining their commitment to AMAF. We’ll compare the framework’s early vision with today’s reality and engage in a discussion on the current perceptions of government support. The interactive format of this in-person event will encourage audience participation\, including a live poll to capture industry sentiment. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights into how AMAF continues to shape asset management in Victoria amid shifting financial landscapes. \n\nClick here to register\n  \nAbout the speaker: \nNicholas Phillips is the Executive Director and Principal Consultant of MACE Consulting (Aust) Pty Ltd specialising in Asset Management\, Lifecycle Cost and Performance Analysis\, and Reliability and Maintainability Analysis.
