She has a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Business and Technology. Ms. Lewry brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to SA Water and will provide practical\, actionable information on water and sustainability. \nJessica Dzara\, is Director of Operations & Maintenance Programs\, Loudoun Water\, in Loudon County\, Virginia\, just outside Washington\, D.C. She has been in her position for almost 6 years after becoming a Certifiied Property Management Professional through the National Property Management Association\, where she was an Executive Board Member for more than 8 years.\nMs. Dzara was with Sunflower Systems\, an asset management software company\, for 12 years. At Loudoun Water\, Ms. Dzara is responsible for 1\,431 miles of water mains and 47\,400 valves\,\nin addition to other assets\, including facilities. She has spearheaded the asset management initiatives since they were formally introduced in 2018 and was the driver of the Loudoun Water 2020 – 2024 Asset Management Plan. He holds a Ph.D. with Honors in Industrial Engineering\, is listed in the Stanford University’s list of world top-scientists in 2022 and received the Spanish Maintenance Award\nfrom the Spanish Maintenance Association (AEM) in 2020. His research works have been published in many international journals and books focusing on his expertise in maintenance\, warranty\, supply chain and assets management. \nProfessor Crespo is a Fellow and Director of ISEAM (International Society of Engineering Assets Management)\, Editor-in-Chief of the Springer Book Series Engineering and Asset Management Review\, and leads the Spanish Research Network on Assets Management and the Spanish Committee for Maintenance Standardization. \nHe also leads the SIM (Sistemas Inteligentes de Mantenimiento) research group related to maintenance and dependability management and has extensively participated in many engineering and consulting projects for different companies\, for the Spanish Departments of Defence\, Science and Education as well as for the European Commission (IPTS). With over $100 million of assets under management\, the Railway’s portfolio covers everything from heritage-listed rolling stock to internationally awarded\, ultra-modern architecture\, all along 25 km of managed rail corridor. Its unique placement offers both challenges and opportunities to the Asset Manager. Five of Puffing Billy’s asset management challenges will be outlined\, spanning pre-COVID to the years to come. \nClick here to register\n\nAbout the speaker:\nBret Butler\, Group Manager\, Infrastructure\, Puffing Billy Railway \nBret has 40 years of operations and executive management experience in manufacturing and technical service companies in both Australia and New Zealand\, across the tourism\, facilities\, property\, engineering\, forestry\, and chemical manufacturing sectors. Bret has a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science and a Master’s in Business Administration. For the past seven years\, Bret has been employed by Puffing Billy Railway as the Infrastructure Manager\, responsible for the management of the majority of the Railway’s assets\, including rolling stock\, land\, track infrastructure\, bridges\, buildings\, the environment\, construction projects\, and the Museum. Bret is an ultra-marathon runner\, part-time cook\, book reader\, has two daughters\, a mad Kelpie named Harry\, and is proud to be an active member of his local CFA brigade in Yinnar South.
