Name: Graham Webb
AM Council Title: Newcastle Chapter Chair
Brief work history:
I trained and worked in maintenance trade and management positions at BHP Steelworks, Electric Lamp Manufacturers, Alcan Aluminium Smelter and Tomago Aluminium Smelter sites over 22 years. In the late 1990s I moved into contract Condition Monitoring and worked in underground and open-cut coal mines, a copper mine, various power stations, manufacturing sites, grain handling facilities and equipment repair workshops in NSW and Queensland, and have been doing so over the past 17 years.
Why did you first join the Asset Management Council?
I joined an active Condition Monitoring group which sat under MESA in the early 1990s and have been a part of the organising of events over that whole period in various roles gaining much in contact with many people in many types of industries in many fields of technology.
I joined to learn more in the condition monitoring and maintenance management fields and make contact with others in those fields in the Newcastle Region.
