The AMCouncil is a professional association with a purpose to enable value from effective asset management and to assist members. Our vison of asset management is to improve society and empower sustainable communities through asset management. Creating a broad awareness of the value of asset management, nurturing a common understanding of asset management, and providing a portal to asset management knowledge and resources are all important activities in advancing our purpose.
With the release of the newly developed AMCouncil 2025 Strategy, we thought this presented the ideal opportunity to get the Northern Territory moving in a positive direction towards regional competency in asset management by embedding an approach to achieving AM Maturity and certification for the Northern Territory Public, Private & Business sectors.
The newly formed AMCouncil NT committee is committing to focus on establishing the current benchmark in AM maturity and facilitate the pathway to certification in AM (CAAM, CPAM, CSAM, CFAM). The committee’s aim is to strive to establish competency strategies for certification and facilitate regional and national networks for its members to establish a high AM standard for the region which will benefit business as a whole.
Currently Asset Management’s primary Australian certification avenue is through the AMCouncil’s certification process which with the WPiAM benchmarks on a global scale. The NT Chapter will leverage off this and implement a regional focused strategy to assist individuals and organisations to grow their AM capability, and in turn the regional AM capability will grow.
With this, the AMCouncil NT Chapter extends its invite to members and non-members for attendance to the inaugural event with keynote speech by Dave Daines the current Chairman of the AM Council (online). The Keynote will focus on the vision of the AMCouncil within Australia over the next few years, and a short presentation into the introduction of how AM can provide value to the region.
After the presentation we will have a live round table event with the AMCouncil NT committee to introduce the members.
Once the keynote and presentations have subsided, we ask you to join us for some social networking at NOVOTEL Airport with other AM professionals (drinks and nibbles provided).
