This is your opportunity to participate in a survey which will inform Victorian Government support for the adoption of BIM and Digital Technology in Victoria. To find out how, read on:
One of the areas of focus for the Victorian Government’s Construction Technologies Sector Strategy is to advance the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
The Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR) has engaged KPMG to help understand the use of BIM in Victoria to support implementation of the strategy. The survey will build understanding of the use of BIM process and technologies in the construction supply chain and benchmark the results against KPMG’s work on global capability.
The analysis will inform where the government should focus efforts to improve sector-wide readiness for the adoption of BIM. The results will enable an understanding of which sectors and supply chain segments are leading adoption of BIM practices and which require additional support to realise the full benefit potential from BIM practices.
If you play an active role in the Victorian construction supply chain at any point during planning, design, build and operate and believe you could add value please get in contact with firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest and gain access to the survey. The survey is open now and will stay open until the 11th June 2018.
