Sydney Trains manages and maintains an asset portfolio valued at more than $39 billion with an annual maintenance budget of $1.2 billion. Managing and maintaining assets effectively is key to achieving their goal to keep Sydney and NSW moving.
In order to meet this vision, Sydney Trains embarked on one of NSW Government's largest transformations ($270M) in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). The program commenced in 2015 and concluded successfully in September 20147, having migrated over 20 million data records, coached and trained over 7,500 employee's and external parties, and transformed over 90 business processes.
