The Tasmanian Chapter is delighted to confirm that Clint McDonald has been elected as Tasmanian Chapter Chair. The Asset Management Council would like to extend its sincere thanks to Glen Mackintosh, outgoing Tasmanian Chapter Chair, for all his time and effort. Here are a few words from Clint:
Hello Valued Members and Associates,
I would firstly like to thank Glen Mackintosh for his contributions to the Asset Management Council over the past 18 months, particularly the very successful AMPEAK conference earlier in the year.
As some of you would be aware, earlier this year we conducted a survey to gain a better understanding of what is important to you, in particular, what subject areas you would like to learn more about at our chapter meetings. As such, I am seeking volunteers who are willing to share their experiences and knowledge at our next chapter meeting with a focus on the following areas:
- Asset Management Framework
- Leadership and Culture
- Maintenance Strategy Development
If you have something you want to share in another subject area however, please still get in touch as one of the strengths of our organisation is it's diversity. Presenters will be allocated 30 minutes, including question time. If there is a surplus of volunteers, we will add them to the bill for our next Chapter meeting.
The event is tentatively planned for October 25th at Zeps Cafe in Campbelltown. Details will be confirmed shortly.
I am also seeking expressions of interest from members who are willing to join the Chapter Committee. Please get in touch and I will go through details with you before any commitments are made.
Finally, as the new Chapter Chair, I am dedicated to serving the Chapter, its Members and Affiliates into the future. I am looking forward to sharing insights and experiences with everyone as we build not only the Chapter, but the organisations which contribute greatly to our community.
Chair, Tasmanian AMCouncil Chapter
