Global Maintenance Day 2026 will be recognised globally on 9 June 2026, with this year’s theme: Resilience in Maintenance, Securing Reliability for the Future.
The day is an opportunity to recognise the essential role maintenance practitioners play in keeping assets safe, reliable and available. Maintenance is far more than an operational function — it is a strategic capability that helps organisations reduce risk, respond to disruption, improve reliability and support long-term performance.
To support members and organisations in marking the day, a Global Maintenance Day 2026 pack has been developed with ideas and resources to help promote, celebrate and share the value of maintenance. The pack includes suggested social media activities, local celebration ideas, practitioner recognition opportunities, virtual engagement options, key messages, and digital and physical promotional materials.
Organisations are encouraged to use the pack to plan their own activities, recognise their maintenance teams, share resilience stories, and join the global conversation using hashtags such as #GlobalMaintenanceDay, #GlobalMaintenanceDay2026, #MaintenanceForResilience, #MaintenanceMatters and #ThankAMaintainer.
Download the Global Maintenance Day 2026 pack and start planning how your organisation will recognise and celebrate the people, practices and systems that keep our assets performing — today and into the future.
