Call for EOIs – Member Volunteer to represent AMCouncil on Standards Australia Committee

The AMCouncil is seeking one volunteer member to represent AMCouncil on the IS-015 Software and Systems Engineering Standards Australia Committee, as this committee has identified that they do not have any experts related to IT Asset Management.

If you would like to volunteer for this role, please email info@amcouncil.com.au by the 13th May, providing your CV and a short paragraph of how you would be suited to the role.

Research scholars recognised at AMPEAK26

The AMCouncil Asset Management Research Scholar 2026 was announced during the Tuesday morning plenary session at AMPEAK26.

The 2026 Research Scholar is Dr Muhammad Ali, Network Analyst at The Lines Company, Te Kuiti, New Zealand. His research topic is Asset Criticality Modelling in Electricity Distribution Networks.

Sarah Hannah Re-elected to the AMCouncil Board

The Asset Management Council held its Annual General Meeting on Monday 13 April 2026 at Crown Perth, during AMPEAK 2026.

At the meeting, the results of the Board election were announced, with Sarah Hannah re-elected to the AMCouncil Board for a second term.
