Facilities Reliability Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen, and we are seeking applications from experienced and qualified candidates to fill the vacancy within our Facilities Branch of Facilities Reliability Manager. The winning candidate will provide specialist engineering support and advice to the Facilities Infrastructure Branch Manager in respect to optimisation, reliability and availability of building services and facilities assets. The incumbent will use reliability engineering principles and coordinate reliability studies and reviews and manage reliability risks that could affect safety and business operations encompassing defect elimination, condition monitoring and risk management. They will play a pivotal role in achieving long term, measurable improvements in safety, asset performance efficiency and reliability of PTA’s building facilities services and infrastructure through effective life cycle asset management and whole-of-life cost basis.

Senior Specialist Asset Management
This role focuses on advancing and refining asset management practices throughout the organisation. Key responsibilities include the continuous development and implementation of the MRC Strategic Asset Management Plan and the Digital Asset Management Plans. With strong leadership in place, it’s an exciting time to join the Asset Management team and contribute to enhancing MRC’s asset management capabilities.
Senior Specialist Asset Management Level 7
The Senior Specialist Asset Management Specialist is responsible for developing Mackay Regional Council’s (MRC) Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) and assisting internal asset owners to develop and implement robust asset management plans that appropriately consider Level of Service (LOS) requirements and the capital and ongoing operational cost of delivering these services. The Asset Management Specialist will also lead asset management projects and initiatives across the organisation that drive asset management maturity and capability.
Senior Specialist Asset Management Level 8
The Senior Specialist Asset Management is responsible for developing Mackay Regional Council’s (MRC) Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) and assisting internal asset owners to develop and implement robust asset management plans that appropriately consider Level of Service (LOS) requirements and the capital and ongoing operational cost of delivering these services. The Asset Management Specialist will lead the development and implementation of the capital prioritisation framework and undertake projects across the organisation that drive asset management maturity and capability.
Volunteer Opportunities
The AM Council often requires representation on specific working groups or projects of interest to the wider Asset Management community. Our members represent industry in forums, on panels, on research programs both within Australia and Internationally and in developing standards for the industry and advancing the skills of workers.
