Asset Technical Officer
Join Mackay Regional Council as an Asset Technical Officer and play a key role in turning completed capital projects and subdivisions into recognised, mapped and managed Council assets. Based in Mackay, this is a great opportunity to work across GIS, PMO and Asset Accounting teams while enjoying flexible working arrangements.
About this opportunity:
In this role, you will help make sure Council’s new and completed assets are accurately recognised, recorded and mapped. You will support the handover of capital projects and subdivisions into Council’s asset systems, maintain reliable data across platforms including MiMaps and GIS, and work closely with internal teams to improve asset information and decision-making.
Infrastructure NSW
We are seeking an experienced Director, Asset Management Strategy to lead the uplift of asset management capability across government. The role provides expert advice on the asset-related challenges faced by the NSW Government, including agency capability and capacity in asset management, resilience of the asset portfolio, maximising the value generated from the asset base, and efficiently managing an ageing asset base.
This role is a Senior Executive Band One, offers a total remuneration package starting at $233,641 to $258,587, including superannuation, commensurate with experience. This is a temporary role up until June 2027. For more details, please click here
Volunteer Opportunities
The AM Council often requires representation on specific working groups or projects of interest to the wider Asset Management community. Our members represent industry in forums, on panels, on research programs both within Australia and Internationally and in developing standards for the industry and advancing the skills of workers.
