Overview:

The new ISO Standards have challenged many professionals in their thinking about Asset Management – including many who helped write them! The presenter will take a systems thinking approach to what the new Standards might mean to practitioners and organisations involved in Asset Management. As leading practitioners of Asset Management, we need to have a clear common understanding of the future – this is an opportunity to explore the future directions of operating under the new Standard.  There will be a significant opportunity for attendees to debate and challenge their own and other people’s views, particularly with regard to responding to the two quotes.

About the Speaker:

Tom Carpenter has many years of experience in Asset Management and related fields, he is a Member of ISO PC251 – the ISO Project Committee who developed the ISO 5500# Standards and is also the Australian representative on ISO/CASCO WG39 – the Working Group developing ISO/CASCO 17021-5 the Technical Specification for Certification of ISO55001 Auditor Competencies.
