At AMPEAK, we explored the theme of new waves in asset management—a fitting backdrop to some important changes in the leadership of the Asset Management Council.
We are pleased to announce the results of the recent Board election. The membership has re-elected Nicola Daaboul, and we warmly welcome Dr Yvonne Power as a newly elected Board Member. We are excited about the energy and expertise they bring as we continue to shape the future of asset management.
At the same time, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Dave Daines, who has retired from the Board after an incredible 13 years of service, but continues to remain very active in the asset management sector. Dave has made a tremendous contribution to furthering the vision and mission of the Asset Management Council. His guidance, dedication, and leadership have left a lasting impact on our community.
As part of this transition, Toby Horstead will continue in the role of National Chair of the Board until the end of this year. From 1 January 2026, Wendy McPate will step into the role as National Chair of the Board, continuing the strong leadership that underpins our success.
The newly formed Board is now actively working towards a refreshed strategic vision for 2028.
The current Board comprises of:
- Toby Horstead (National Chair until end of 2025)
- Andrew Carman
- Nicola Daaboul
- Andrew Goodwin
- Sarah Hannah
- Wendy McPate (National Chair from 1 Jan 2026)
- Dr Yvonne Power
We thank all members for your ongoing support and engagement, and we look forward to a bold and ambitious future ahead.
