Last week, members of the AMCouncil Perth Chapter were treated to a rare and insightful site visit to Wesfarmers’ CSBP Chemical Plant.
The afternoon began with a warm welcome from Jakob Verhoef before the group proceeded to the ANCCR control room for a detailed overview of the ammonia and ammonium nitrate production processes. This was followed by a guided walkthrough of the Ammonia and NAAN facilities, offering a unique look into the operational environment and the plant’s maintenance and reliability strategies.
The visit concluded with an engaging recap and discussion session, providing attendees with valuable takeaways on practical asset management approaches within the chemical sector.
