Closes Friday 29 August 2025

Are you interested in supporting the next generation of asset management professionals? We’re expanding our pool of Certification Assessors and are calling for expressions of interest from CSAM and CFAM certified members who are willing to contribute to the development and recognition of their peers.

What Does an Assessor Do?

Assessors play a critical role in upholding the integrity and quality of the AMCouncil’s Asset Management Certification Scheme. They review applications submitted by candidates seeking recognition at one of four certification levels:

  • Certified Associate in Asset Management (CAAM)
  • Certified Technologist in Asset Management (CTAM)
  • Certified Practitioner in Asset Management (CPAM)
  •  Certified Senior in Asset Management (CSAM)
  • Certified Fellow in Asset Management (CFAM)

Assessors evaluate whether applicants have provided sufficient, relevant, and well-articulated evidence of their competence against the criteria for their nominated certification level.

For CFAM applications, assessors also conduct a follow-up interview with the applicant to validate and explore aspects of the written submission.

Assessors are voluntary positions and not remunerated.
