As from 1st September 2025 the AMCouncil was appointed as the owner of the Asset Management Systems Scheme of Australasia document issue4.0 following a transition from JASANZ
The Asset Management Systems Scheme of Australasia (AMSSA) Issue 4.0 sets mandatory and supplementary requirements for certification bodies auditing and certifying ISO 55001 asset management systems, including auditor competence, audit planning, reporting, and asset sampling methods. It also provides detailed normative annexes on audit duration, report content, ISO 55001 application clarifications, and audit team competency guidance to ensure consistent, effective, and robust certification outcomes.
