Brisbane – Asset Management Planning: Good Practices and Tools Workshop

This session is designed to be a collaborative and practical exploration of how planning enables effective asset management across the full asset life cycle. Our intent is to:

• Explore planning artefacts across the asset life cycle—from identification and acquisition to operation, maintenance, and disposal.
• Identify good practices and the “how to” for each planning aspect discussed, using the GFMAM Landscape and ISO 55001 as reference points.
• Discuss tools and techniques that support the various planning aspects.
• Generate a shared artefact that captures insights, examples, and recommendations from the workshop.

We’ll be working in breakout tables, each focused on a different planning aspect or life cycle phase. You’ll rotate through these tables, contributing ideas and critiquing prior insights.

Each table will capture inputs into a consolidated list, which we’ll review together at the end of the session.
