Description
The AMC Sprint: Fast Track to Asset Management is an interactive workshop designed to introduce participants to the principles and practical application of asset management through a real-world case study and team-based problem solving.
Activities
- Introduction to Asset Management and the Asset Management Council (AMC), including an overview of the profession, industry applications, and career pathways.
- Team-based workshops where participants analyse a real-world asset management case study, identify opportunities for improvement, assess risks, and develop practical solutions with guidance from industry coaches.
- Group presentations to a panel of industry judges, followed by feedback, discussion of proposed solutions, and selection of the winning team.
Topics Covered
- Fundamentals of Asset Management and its role in organisational performance and decision-making.
- Cost reduction, risk management, and prioritisation techniques used to improve asset performance and business outcomes.
