Webinar – Embedding Sustainability into Water Corporation’s Asset Management Practices (AM in Action 6 of 9)

This presentation will focus on how Water Corporation has embedded sustainability into asset management decision-making throughout the asset lifecycle by integrating sustainability requirements across project planning, design and delivery using a new Sustainable Assets Guideline and Option Assessment tool.

The sustainability outcomes outlined in the guideline are aligned to Corporate and Asset Management Objectives, ESG Strategy and the Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) Rating Scheme. This approach integrates early materiality assessment, option assessment, risk/opportunity management with measurable targets which is now applied to all Water Corporation major projects.

This approach has resulted in quadruple bottom line outcomes and improved decision quality delivering enhanced sustainability value to our customers and communities.

With more than 25 years of experience in the water sector, she has worked across a broad range of areas, including strategic asset management, sustainability, climate change risk and adaptation, waterwise program management, and leading the development of Water Corporation’s annual Strategic Asset Plan for Treasury investment planning.
