Director, Road Asset Information Management

In this role, you’ll be leading the strategy and governance for road asset data across the NSW state road network and ensuring the integrity and effective use of asset information to support evidence-based decision-making. This enables improved maintenance planning, asset risk management, and investment prioritisation by strengthening asset information systems, frameworks and standards across Transport for NSW. Reporting to the Executive Director, Road Asset & Program Services, you’ll be leading a geographically distributed team and collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to enhance the safety, reliability, and resilience of NSW road infrastructure.

Senior Manager, Asset Strategy – Corridor and Civil

This role will lead the development and implementation of asset strategies for bus, ferry, light rail, and maritime infrastructure, including depots, stops, tracks, wharves, lighthouses, and coastal assets. Experience in multi-discipline asset management would be ideal, including knowledge of ISO 55000 standards, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective outcomes. Reporting to the Director, Operational Asset Strategy, you will provide technical expertise, influence investment and lifecycle decisions, and drive improvements in asset management maturity across the portfolio.

Volunteer Opportunities

The AM Council often requires representation on specific working groups or projects of interest to the wider Asset Management community. Our members represent industry in forums, on panels, on research programs both within Australia and Internationally and in developing standards for the industry and advancing the skills of workers.
