Last night, the AMCouncil Melbourne Chapter hosted an engaging and interactive discussion on the Asset Management Accountability Framework (AMAF) and how it continues to shape asset management practices within the Victorian Government.

Led by Nicholas Phillips, the session explored how government agencies are balancing compliance, service outcomes, and operational efficiency amid increasing financial constraints. Attendees shared their perspectives on the evolving challenges, comparing AMAF’s early vision to today’s reality.

Rather than a traditional presentation, the session took the form of a group discussion, encouraging active participation from the audience. Lively conversations and insights from various sectors made for a truly engaging evening.

A big thank you to Nicholas for facilitating such an insightful session and to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussion!
