Last night, the AMCouncil Melbourne Chapter hosted an insightful technical session exploring the concept of opportunity as risk, with a presentation from Fiona Beckley, Asset Information Specialist at V/Line.
Fiona shared her journey in developing an Opportunity Framework at V/Line, tackling questions such as whether opportunity is truly the opposite of risk, and how opportunities can be quantified and managed alongside threats. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience across rail, water, and manufacturing, Fiona highlighted the challenges, learnings, and practical applications of this emerging approach.
