Thank you to everyone who joined us for last week’s Sydney Chapter event, ConnectSydney’s Asset Management Maturity Uplift in Sydney Roads Asset Performance Contract.
The session provided valuable insight into ConnectSydney’s asset management maturity journey under the Sydney Roads Asset Performance Contract, highlighting practical steps taken to strengthen capability, assurance, prioritisation and cross-functional alignment in a live operational environment. Attendees heard how asset-need-led planning, balanced cost–risk–performance prioritisation, and embedded assurance were translated into day-to-day business-as-usual practices to support better decision-making and stronger client confidence.
A big thank you to our speakers, Max Dallarmi, Network Needs Manager, ConnectSydney, and Syed Kazmi, Strategic Asset Manager, ConnectSydney, for sharing their practical insights and experience. Thank you also to the AMCouncil Sydney Chapter for organising the event, and to the Canberra hub for bringing people together locally in Canberra while dialling in for the technical component.
It was a valuable opportunity to hear how asset management maturity can be uplifted in practice, with tangible outcomes for decision quality, traceability and stakeholder confidence.
