We are happy to announce the 2022 AMCouncil Perth Chapter committee line up is:

Affordable Standards – Petition to the Federal Government

The Asset Management Sector relies on Australian Standards to ensure the safety and operability of the built environment for the general public.   These standards are compulsory and becoming increasingly expensive and the restrictions on accessibility are increasing.  These standards are constantly being revised so new versions are required. Some standards are mandated by legislation. Many of the people that require these standards are in small organisations or even sole traders that cannot support these overheads.

Announcing the 2022 Adelaide Chapter Committee

Following election for the positions of all Adelaide Chapter positions at yesterday’s AGM, the Chapter is delighted to confirm that:

  • Michael Nicholas has been re-elected as the Adelaide Chapter Chair;
  • Jack Nelson has been elected as the Adelaide Chapter Secretary

We would like to thank Andrew Wilson for their time and effort in the secretary position over the past term, and are delighted they are staying on in the committee as a general member. 

The above join re-elected committee members Shane Bissmire, Mae-Ryn Chong, and Bill Filmer.

Announcing the 2022 Brisbane Chapter Committee

Following voting for the positions of all Brisbane Chapter positions, the Brisbane Chapter is delighted to confirm that:

  • Sparshy Rablin has been elected as Brisbane Chapter Chair; and
  • Stephen Walker has been elected as Brisbane Chapter Vice Chair

The Asset Management Council would like to extend its sincere thanks to Keith Paintin and Peter Pennell, outgoing Brisbane Chapter Chair and Vice-Chair respectively, for all their time and effort over the last two years. We are delighted that both Keith and Peter will stay on in the Committee as general members.
