Two Guardian Pass patrol boats were simultaneously launched at the Australian Marine Complex in Henderson, WA.
The Australian Marine Complex leads the world in the construction of high speed, lightweight vessels. The maritime precinct, where the two Guardian Pass patrol boats were launched, is approximately 35 hectares in area, and is home to five primary shipbuilders1. Austal, a global defence prime contractor, has designed and built the Patrol Class for the Commonwealth of Australia2.

Darwin Chapter 1st Session: The New Beginning
