Some people think asset management is a stand-alone activity that has nothing to do with financial management. Asset Management Council is busting these types of myths through a series of free e-books. This myth and other similar issues will also be explored in more detail at the 2016 AMPEAK conference in Adelaide next April.
Although this myth is out there, in reality asset and financial management are closely connected and when broken down both align to the acronym REAL.
