New Zealand Draft National Adaptation Plan

New Zealand has released a Draft National Adaptation Plan dated 27 April 2022 in an effort to build climate resilience by driving significant, long-term shift in policy and institutional frameworks. The plan sets out a proposed future work programme, indicating priorities over the next six years in an effort to enable better decisions to be made about the response to the changing climate. New Board member elected at AM Council AGM

At the AMPEAK 2022 conference early April, the Asset Management Council held its annual AGM. At the meeting a new Board member was elected. There were three applications for one place on the Board and after voting, Nicola Daaboul was elected. 

In addition to congratulating Nicola, the AM Council would like to thank outgoing Board member Glenn Ingram for his work and commitment to the AMCouncil board over the last 10 years.

Decarbonisation Pathways for the Australian Cement and Concrete Sector

The Asset Management Council is a partner with research unit Smartcrete CRC. A project funded through the Smartcrete CRC  “Decarbonisation Pathways for the Australian Cement and Concrete Sector” cumulated in a report released in February 2022. We are privileged to have the CEO of the “Cement Industry Federation of Australia”, Dr Margie Thomson, present the international report on “Decarbonisation Pathways for the Australia Cement and Concrete Sector” report to our delegates at AMPEAK in the 4:40pm till 5:05 pm session on Monday 4th April 2022.
