iNSW State Infrastructure Strategy

Principles for Resilient Infrastructure Event
For our Sustainability and Resilience in Asset Management special interest group and the Asset Management Council membership more broadly, you may be interested in an upcoming event hosted by UCL, ICE OECD & CDRI on Principles for Resilient Infrastructure – a global standard for the improvement of infrastructure resilience, taking place as an online event on the 25 May.
With the overall intention of raising awareness and understanding on resilience of infrastructure, the objectives of the event will be to present the Principles for Resilient Infrastructure Report, elaborate on the concept of ‘net resilience gain’, illustrate how to implement the Principles for Resilient Infrastructure, and introduce policy instruments and tools for resilient infrastructure (CDRI’s lexicon, OECD’s Good Governance for Critical Infrastructure Resilience and ICE’s knowledge platforms).

New Zealand Draft National Adaptation Plan
New Zealand has released a Draft National Adaptation Plan dated 27 April 2022 in an effort to build climate resilience by driving significant, long-term shift in policy and institutional frameworks. The plan sets out a proposed future work programme, indicating priorities over the next six years in an effort to enable better decisions to be made about the response to the changing climate.
