Thanks to Gary Penn from Aurecon and Mark Dragar from CutlerMerz for their insightful presentations on risk at the November Asset Management Council Adelaide Chapter event last week. Thanks also to all who have turned up to this years Adelaide Chapter events. Brisbane continues their exploration of asset management development

86297AC5 63C7 4E9F BF06 71853458ADBFThursday saw the last Technical seminar for 2019 for the Brisbane Chapter, the session was focused on the heart of any Asset management System, and that is the people. With two eminent speakers in Dr Monique Beedles and Yvonne Pengilly, the audience were provided with many thought provoking points ranging from career development and competencies to the requirements of being a register Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) and the associated interaction with Asset Management activities. The opportunity was also taken to outline the AMCouncil strategy for 2020-2023.

AMPEAK20 Abstracts Closed

Abstracts closed for AMPEAK2020 last Friday 22 November.  We are overwhelmed by the number of abstracts submitted for AMPEAK2020.  Thankyou to all those in the asset management community who have submitted abstracts for consideration by the conference technical review committee.    We look forward to connecting at AMPEAK2020 in Melbourne 19th to 22nd April 2019

Sydney on Long Term Investment Planning

20191120 182054Sydney chapter had a good turnout for a presentation on “Long Term Investment Planning” for Sydney Water by Barry Mcdonnell and Tim Boyer, on the 20th November 2019.
