[Case Study] Energizing Capital Expenditure Planning

With the largest energy network in Australia, Ausgrid needed a bestpractice modeling application to plan its future capital expenditure projects with greater efficiency, flexibility, and accuracy. They chose to work with SAP, who recently exhibited at the AM Council’s annual AMPEAK Asset Management Conference. By implementing the SAP BusinessObjects™ Planning and Consolidation application, they increased the accuracy and reliability of capital forecasts and lowered the cost of forecast audits, scenario analysis, and regulatory compliance. Burlington Streamlines Asset Management with One System

In 2012, the City of Burlington (COB) in southwestern Ontario began using the RivaDS solution to manage the complex lifecycles of its largest asset class, roadways, comprising about 80% of their inventory replacement value. Working with the City, Riva Modeling created the central asset inventory by integrating to all source systems and spreadsheets. The project included integration to Esri GIS, Road Matrix (Pavement Management), Avantis (CMMS) and SAP Asset Accounting (ERP system). Riva Modeling was recently an exhibitor at the Asset Management Council’s AMPEAK Conference. Below is a case study highlighting the full scope of the project.
