On the morning of 19 October, the delegation visited Shanghai Baosight Software, part of China Baowu, toured the Baocloud Luojing Data Centre and met representatives of Baosight’s Marketing Headquarters, Rail Transit Business Unit, Baocloud Business Unit, Baokang Electronic and Baosight Smart Mining. The delegation was hosted by Hua Yiwen, General Manager of Overseas Business Marketing, Marketing Headquarters; Cheng Chang, Senior Director, Rail Transit Business Unit; Min Xinrong, Director of Marketing, Baocloud Business Unit; and Xie Yu, Party Branch Secretary and Deputy General Manager of Baokang Electronic.
The Luojing campus reuses the land, buildings and power and water infrastructure of the former Baosteel Luojing plant, and is Baosight’s largest self-owned data centre cluster. Delegates saw its power, cooling and central monitoring facilities, and the role of redundancy, backup power and preventive maintenance in keeping services running.
Baosight presented its data centre and computing services, smart mining, and intelligent transport and rail businesses, showing AI embedded in everyday operations, inspection and maintenance decisions. AI road inspection, for example, covers 300–500 km a day compared with 100–150 km conventionally, with over 90% defect recognition accuracy; asset management efficiency and utilisation have improved by about 20%, operation and maintenance needs have fallen by 6–10 people per kilometre, and its intelligent industrial transport system has raised production efficiency by 24.4%. Discussion also covered repurposing industrial sites, digital handover across the lifecycle, and risk-based maintenance prioritisation.
“The data centres have been built in a repurposed steel plant because of its available energy, water and load-bearing capacity, and they use ambient temperatures in winter to support cooling,” said Shuwen Ling. “These are things we can learn from in Australia.”

2026年10月19日上午，澳大利亚资产管理委员会代表团访问中国宝武旗下上海宝信软件股份有限公司（以下简称“宝信软件”），参观宝之云·罗泾数据中心，并与宝信软件营销本部、轨道交通事业本部、宝之云事业本部、宝康电子、宝信智矿的代表座谈交流。营销本部海外事业营销部总经理华易文，轨道交通事业本部高级总监程畅，宝之云事业本部市场营销部总监闵心容、宝康电子党支部书记、副总经理谢禹等接待代表团一行。
宝之云·罗泾基地依托原宝钢罗泾厂区的土地、厂房及供配电、供水等基础设施改造建设，是宝信软件规模最大的自有数据中心集群。代表团实地了解了园区的供配电、制冷和集中监控设施，以及冗余设计、备用电源和预防性维护在保障业务连续性中的作用。
座谈中，宝信软件介绍了数据中心与算力服务、智慧矿山以及智能交通和轨道业务，展示了人工智能在日常运营、巡检和维护决策中的实际应用。例如，人工智能道路巡检每天可覆盖300至500公里（传统方式为100至150公里），缺陷识别准确率超过90%；资产管理效率和利用率提升约20%，运营和维护成本降低6-10人/公里，智能工业运输系统使生产效率提升24.4%。双方还就工业设施转型再利用、全生命周期数字化交付以及基于风险的维护优先级管理进行了交流。
林舒雯表示：“数据中心建在由钢厂改造而成的园区内，利用了原有的能源、水源和承重条件，冬季还利用环境温度辅助制冷。这些都是澳大利亚可以借鉴的。”
