On the afternoon of 20 October, the delegation travelled to Jiaxing, Zhejiang, to visit Zhejiang Bove Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (Bove Technology), hosted by General Manager Wang Liubo (Jeff Wang).
Founded in 2017, Bove develops smart water and heat meters, communications and software, and covers R&D, manufacturing, sales, software and service. It serves more than 700 clients in over 80 countries, with more than 4 million devices deployed, and entered the Australian market in 2019. Delegates toured the site where R&D, manufacturing, calibration and testing sit side by side, and saw ultrasonic meters, Bove’s own calibration equipment, and a complete solution using LoRaWAN, NB-IoT and other networks for remote reading, leak and burst detection and SCADA integration.
Discussion covered how metering data supports leakage control and pipe renewal decisions, managing the quality and life of very large fleets of field devices, and the role of international standards in exporting products.
“It was great to see a Chinese-founded start-up extending globally, with slow but sustainable growth,” said Non-Executive Director Dr Yvonne Power. “The entire production line, from design and development to testing, is here.”

2026年10月20日下午，澳大利亚资产管理委员会代表团赴浙江嘉兴，访问浙江博孚智能科技有限公司（以下简称“博孚科技”），总经理王刘博等接待代表团一行。
博孚科技成立于2017年，专注于智能水表、热量表、无线通信和云平台软件，业务覆盖研发、制造、销售、软件和售后服务，产品服务于80多个国家和地区的700多家客户，累计部署400多万台终端，2019年进入澳大利亚市场。代表团参观了公司集研发、生产、检定和测试于一体的厂区，了解了超声波水表、自主研发的检定设备，以及通过LoRaWAN、NB-IoT等多种通信方式实现远程抄表、漏损和爆管监测、与SCADA系统集成的整体方案。
交流中，双方就智能计量数据对漏损控制和管网更新决策的支撑、大规模终端设备的寿命与质量管理，以及国际标准在产品出口中的作用进行了探讨。
