About the Presentations

Disruptive Technologies in Asset Management: The electric utility industry is facing multiple challenges in adapting to the deployment of distributed energy resources, load management, and new technological and customer alternatives. Scenarios of the future are discussed in length but it is still unsure which of the scenario’s in the end will effectuate.
The complex nature of these future challenges and the many strategies that can be developed in meeting these challenges means that utilities need to have better insight in market, technology, customer developments to ensure that strategies are on track and course corrected as needed.
This presentation will give insight into:
• What are the significant drivers for change for asset managers?
• What are the future scenarios for electric utility industry?
• How to prepare for these future challenges? i.e. Scenario planning and Signposting
