The Asset Management Council’s Melbourne Chapter recently welcomed members and industry colleagues to a lunchtime technical event exploring Asset Investment Planning: Critical Success Factors for a Strategic Business Function.
Presenter Rory Gibbons drew on more than a decade of experience implementing Asset Investment Planning frameworks across public and private sector organisations. Through practical insights and case studies, Rory highlighted the importance of strong project fundamentals, asset criticality and communicating investment outcomes in language that resonates with different stakeholders.
The session also explored common challenges organisations encounter when developing their Asset Investment Planning practices and practical ways to strengthen decision-making, coordinate investment activities and create greater value from asset portfolios.
