Last night the Asset Management Council Sydney Chapter hosted a fantastic event featuring Henry Elderfield sharing his insights on how asset intensive organisations need to be planning for climate change now. His simple but effective message of ‘your assets were designed for climate A and we’re already in climate B’ really resonated!

Toby Horstead presented on ‘Third Line Assurance’ to the PEMAC conference today. Toby presented on the need for 3 lines of assurance from an industry perspective and gave examples of failures that would have benefited from structured assurance and other cases of success and improvement from 3rd line assurance reviews. The conference has been a great success for PEMAC and Toby looks forward to bringing back his observations and learnings to Australia.
