Brief work history:
I hold a Masters Degree in in Business and Technology and have worked for Ausgrid and its previous incarnations for the last 39 years starting as an Apprentice Electrical Fitter / Mechanic, completing engineering and business qualifications whilst gaining experience of all aspects of the Electricity Network – construction, maintenance, design, project development, project management, contract management, asset management and strategy and safety and environmental management. I am currently the Safety and Environmental Services Manager at Ausgrid.
Why did you first join the Asset Management Council?
I was appointed to a role responsible for the asset strategy for a power distribution network and joined as a member of MESA, that then became AM Council and I have a passion for maintenance and asset management.

YAMPS (Young Asset Management Practitioners): Monday afternoon will feature a breakout sessions for YAMPS to attend which will allow young engineers, young asset management professionals, and students an opportunity to network, learn, and develop their skills. The event runs in conjunction with the AMPEAK Asset Management Conference and will feature a mix of attendee participation and prepared presentations to ensure a variety of engaging content and activities.
