The WA Branch of Materials Australia, the Materials Society of Engineers Australia, together with Engineers Australia is hosting a timely technical seminar presenting recent advancements in the design, manufacture use and testing of gears and shafts at Technology Park Function Centre, Brodie Hall Drive, Bentley, WA on Wednesday, 30th July 2014.
The day includes a breakfast presentation followed by half-day seminar in which four experts in the field will make presentations on recent advancements in the design, manufacture use and testing of gears and shafts. The seminar will be followed by a Plant Visit to the world-leading facilities at Hofmann Engineering, Bassendean.

Asset Management Improvement Plan (AMIP), Improved Sustaining Capex Portfolio (SCP) and Industry panel for ISO55000 organised by Asset Management Council (AM Council) Brisbane Chapter was a huge success, say Dr. Gopi Chattopadhyay, Chair of Brisbane Chapter. This event was organised by a vibrant Brisbane Chapter committee on 14th May 2014, Hawken Auditorium, Engineers Australia. The evening was chaired and MC’d by Gopi Chattopadhyay.

The recent Tasmania Chapter event went very well, with around 15 delegates from TasNetworks, Hydro Tasmania, Launceston Airport, TasRail and GHD in attendance.
