Principles for Resilient Infrastructure Event

For our Sustainability and Resilience in Asset Management special interest group and the Asset Management Council membership more broadly, you may be interested in an upcoming event hosted by UCL, ICE OECD & CDRI on Principles for Resilient Infrastructure – a global standard for the improvement of infrastructure resilience, taking place as an online event on the 25 May.

With the overall intention of raising awareness and understanding on resilience of infrastructure, the objectives of the event will be to present the Principles for Resilient Infrastructure Report, elaborate on the concept of ‘net resilience gain’, illustrate how to implement the Principles for Resilient Infrastructure, and introduce policy instruments and tools for resilient infrastructure (CDRI’s lexicon, OECD’s Good Governance for Critical Infrastructure Resilience and ICE’s knowledge platforms).

New Board member elected at AM Council AGM

At the AMPEAK 2022 conference early April, the Asset Management Council held its annual AGM. At the meeting a new Board member was elected. There were three applications for one place on the Board and after voting, Nicola Daaboul was elected.

In addition to congratulating Nicola, the AM Council would like to thank outgoing Board member Glenn Ingram for his work and commitment to the AMCouncil board over the last 10 years.

Nicola recently published an article in Government News on Why Smarter Choices in Funding Allocation are Essential for Sustainable Service Delivery. Read the article here.
