AMC and ASC announce Strategic Partnership
The Asset Management Council is absolutely thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with ASC, a leader in asset management in the defence sector. Close collaboration between the AMCouncil and ASC over the next twelve months will significantly contribute to the AMCouncil’s body of knowledge and in turn enable ASC to take advantage of cross-sector opportunities available in order to continue upwards on their asset management maturity journey. We welcome ASC to the AMC Community and are excited for what the future will bring as a result of this key collaboration.
The Asset Management Council is seeking a practitioner in asset management to serve as its National Chair for the Women in Asset Management (WiAM) Practitioners Group. The following credentials and qualities are desired:
AMCouncil members Dr Carla Boehl and Dr Yvonne Power were recently honoured to receive an invitation from Dr Marguerite Evans-Galea, PhD and Executive Director of the Industry Mentoring Network in STEM (IMNIS), to share their entrepreneurial experiences and career advice to a selected group of PhD students. 
A wonderful online discussion was had earlier this week between Phebe Cho, Founder of Accelus, and Felicia Tristanto, our National Women in Asset Management (WiAM) Chair – all about mentoring and how to identify mentors, coaches, sponsors and supporters. Some great ideas to reflect on and put into action.
