The Asset Management Council is delighted to announce the launch of its Virtual Asset Management Data Forum, taking place next month on the 18 June 2020, bringing together a plethora of industry thought leaders and asset managers committed to the development of Asset Data Management best practice.
The WA Chapter AGM was held on the 2nd April and a full strength committee elected including three new committee members: Dr Carla Boehl, Carlos Fortuna and Ankur Maheshwari.

The Royal Australian Air Force is set to receive the first Australian designed and made military aircraft in fifty years. Boeing’s Loyal Wingman drone uses artificial intelligence to advance its capabilities; this means that the pilots will not have to remotely control the drone’s manoeuvres. The drone is currently undergoing ground testing, followed by taxi and its first flight scheduled for later this year.

Whatever the description, there is no doubt that Asset Management Council volunteers are leaders of industry, who volunteer their time to enrich the services and products of the Asset Management Council, for the benefit of the greater asset management community. At AMSPEAK, delegates were intrigued by the presentation by Michael Lesnie, Senior Associate from Qubist1, outlining the juxtaposition of small asset renewal projects in the utilities sector, and the capital expenditure of the business.
